AdBlue® is a high-purity NOx reducer for diesel engines equipped with SCR technology. SCR (selective catalytic reduction) technology is based on a catalytic reaction in which harmful nitrogen oxides are reduced to the harmless substances nitrogen and water using a reducer (AdBlue®).
SCR technology is used to meet the EURO 4, 5, and EURO 6 emissions standards, offering a future-proof propulsion concept in terms of fuel efficiency, performance, and environmental compatibility. AdBlue® has a shelf life of up to 36 months when stored in sealed containers at temperatures of up to 30 °C (average 20 °C).
