MITANOL SAE 80W-90 GL-5is manufactured from selected base oils combined with a tailored additive package. The EP additives contained in the gear oil form a load-bearing lubricating film on the tooth flanks, which prevents galling even under extreme mechanical stress and significantly reduces abrasive wear. The gear oil exhibits excellent resistance to aging even under high thermal stress. Its good low-temperature flow properties are due to the high degree of refinement of the base oil and the flow improver it contains. The gear oil contains suitable active ingredients to suppress foaming, and the lubricated machine parts are protected against corrosive effects.
MITANOL SAE 80W-90 GL-5 is compatible with standard sealing materials.
MITANOL SAE 80W-90 GL-5 is used in transmissions with hypoid and spiral bevel gears for axle drives in passenger and commercial vehicles, as well as in motorcycle cardan drives and motorcycle manual transmissions, unless engine oils are specified.
